PAYMENT TERMS
A deposit of 50% is required before scheduling certain projects, equipment orders, specialty materials, or projects exceeding $2,000.
The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods include credit card, e-transfer, or cheque.
Overdue accounts may be subject to interest charges of 2% per month (24% annually) and any collection costs permitted by law.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
The customer is responsible for providing safe and unobstructed access to the work area. Pets must be secured and children kept away from the work area during service.
The customer must ensure that water, electrical service, and access points are available when required.
To ensure safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship, customers are asked to minimize interruptions while technicians are actively performing work. Questions, concerns, and project discussions should be addressed before work begins or after work has been completed whenever possible.
CEILING ACCESS & CONNECTION VERIFICATION
To ensure all plumbing connections are properly completed, tested, and verified, Liquid Copper Plumbing may require access to the ceiling, wall, or other concealed areas as necessary.
If the Customer declines to provide the required access or refuses permission to open the ceiling, wall, or other concealed areas when deemed necessary by Liquid Copper Plumbing, the work will be completed only to the extent possible without such access. The Customer acknowledges that Liquid Copper Plumbing cannot verify or guarantee the integrity of concealed connections under these circumstances and accepts full responsibility for any leaks, water damage, or related repairs resulting from the inability to inspect, test, or properly complete the connection. Liquid Copper Plumbing shall not be liable for any damages arising from the Customer's refusal to provide the required access.
DRAIN CLEANING DISCLAIMER
Drain cleaning services are intended to restore flow and improve drainage conditions. Due to the nature of drainage systems, Liquid Copper Plumbing does not provide any warranty on drain cleaning work, including but not limited to snaking, augering, hydro jetting, camera inspections, or any other drain clearing method.
The customer acknowledges that drain cleaning may be performed on aging, deteriorated, corroded, cracked, root-intruded, improperly installed, or otherwise compromised piping systems. Existing defects may become apparent during the cleaning process.
Liquid Copper Plumbing shall not be held responsible for leaks, pipe breaks, pipe collapses, water damage, property damage, or other failures resulting from pre-existing conditions within the drainage system. The condition and integrity of the plumbing system remain the responsibility of the property owner.
By authorizing drain cleaning services, the customer acknowledges and accepts the risks associated with servicing existing plumbing and drainage systems.
SCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS
Appointments cancelled with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $220.
If our technicians arrive and are unable to perform the scheduled work due to lack of access, unavailable decision-makers, unsafe conditions, utilities being shut off, site readiness issues, or other circumstances beyond our control, a minimum service charge of $220 will apply. Additional charges may apply if further travel or labour is required to return and complete the work.
WARRANTY
Liquid Copper Plumbing warrants its workmanship, including labour and materials supplied and installed by Liquid Copper Plumbing, for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion unless otherwise specified in writing.

This warranty does not cover:
• Drain cleaning services of any kind
• Customer-supplied materials, fixtures, or equipment
• Freezing damage
• Abuse, misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
• Existing plumbing defects outside the scope of work
• Normal wear and tear
• Acts of nature, flooding, or external causes
• Blockages occurring after service completion
• Failures caused by aging, deteriorated, corroded, damaged, or improperly installed plumbing systems
• Pre-existing plumbing conditions that were not visible or reasonably identifiable at the time of service.
Liquid Copper Plumbing's liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective workmanship performed by Liquid Copper Plumbing. Under no circumstances shall Liquid Copper Plumbing be responsible for consequential, incidental, property, or secondary damages arising from the condition, age, deterioration, or failure of existing plumbing systems.
CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED FIXTURES
Liquid Copper Plumbing will install customer-supplied fixtures, faucets, toilets, sinks, shower components, water heaters, and other plumbing products at the customer's request. The customer assumes full responsibility for product selection, compatibility, completeness, quality, manufacturer defects, and suitability for the intended application.
Additional labour charges may apply if supplied products are damaged, defective, missing components, incompatible with existing plumbing, or require modifications not identified prior to installation.
No labour warranty is provided on failures resulting from defective customer-supplied materials, fixtures, equipment, or water heaters.
